True World Foods Expo 2022 Report
On Sunday, September 18th 2022, True World Foods held the "True World Foods Expo 2022" which aimed to promote Sushi and Sashimi and the food culture of Japan, at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood (125 W 18th Street) after a two-year pause.
Guests enjoyed unending bites of all Sushi/Sashimi sampling. in addition to land-based samples like Wagyu beef. Wasabi, nori, fruits, sweets, and matcha tea were served.
The main event of the day was the slicing of a 400-pound bluefin tuna from Spain at 1:30 p.m. Chefs from Blue Ribbon Sushi, Hatsuhana, Icca, Sushi Ryusei, and JUKU turned it into enough toro, chu-toro, and akami to feed more than 1,800 people.
Additionally, Japan's high-class kitchen knife brand "Aoki Cutlery" (Kashiwa, Osaka) sold its wares at special promotion prices only on this day. Another service offered by True World Foods, both selling the knives and in some of their centers, is a knife sharpening service. For an added treat, those purchasing one of these beautiful knives could have their name engraved into the blade while at the show.
Not only did True World Foods have a huge selection of fresh and frozen specialty seafood, knives, and restaurant supplies, but they also had all of their specialty products from their Fish Bay, Homare, and True World Foods brands on display. This showed that True World Foods could supply everything a sushi restaurant would need.
The 2022 Expo was another great event that showed why True World Foods is the best place to get all the products and supplies a sushi restaurant needs to keep its customers happy, no matter where it is in the United States, Canada, England, Spain, or elsewhere.
